Inspired by beauty
The Amalfi coast magically situated between the blue sky and the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. One of the most beautiful places in the world, and one of the most inspiring. This is where I go to rejuvenate myself and feel alive in so many ways. Riding the winding Strada Statale 163 between Vietri Sul Mare in the east and Positano in the west on my black cafe racer filling my lungs with the sweet scent of lemon blossoms and the acrid aroma of saltiness. Going through picturesque villages clinging to the last offshoots of the Lattari Mounts.
A vertical landscape characterized by a picturesque labyrinth of stairways and narrow alleys, connecting the two main elements of this landscape: the mountains and the sea. A continuous succession of headlands and inlets, bays and fjords, interspersed with pebbled beaches and rocks on which you can still see the ancient viceregal towers. Therefore this area has been influenced by people from all over the world and so are the John Late collections. When you put on one of my watches I want you to imagine the breeze from the Mediterranean Sea in your hair, the aroma from a perfectly made espresso or the crisp freshness of a chilled white wine from Tufo or Avellino. The beauty of life.
